Description
YumCars Clay Block
YumCars Clay Block is a synthetic clay sponge for car paint and glass claying. The clay safely removes bound contaminants and particles from your car to regain a perfectly smooth finish.
Clay is an abrasive material designed to remove bound contaminants such as brake dust and tar from the surface of the paint and glass. This process can mark the paint as the contaminants are removed, so we always recommend a machine polish afterwards.
Car Claying
If you feel rough spots on your car during washing and have not disappeared after a complete cleaning, this is usually a sign that you need to clay the car. By leaving it and doing nothing, the contaminants can penetrate the clear coat and cause further damage.
A clay treatment should be performed on a clean area, so always wash it thoroughly first and start with a clean surface. The clay process should always be used in conjunction with lubrication, which helps minimize damage. Yum Detailer and a wash bucket filled with clean water and Yum Wash are the perfect combination for this task.

How to clay car with YumCars Clay Block?
- Wash and decontaminate the vehicle thoroughly first.
- Prepare a bucket with clean, warm water and Yum Wash.
- Start on a small area and spray the area generously with Yum Detailer, or use Yum Wash in a bucket of water and wet the area to be treated.
- Glide the Clay Block over the area in an up-and-down, left-to-right motion. During this process, continually check for contaminants on the surface of the Clay Block and rinse it regularly by placing it back in the bucket of Yum Wash.
- Once the Clay Block glides effortlessly, this is a sign that the area has been decontaminated (deeply cleansed).
- Repeat this step over the entire area to be treated.
- After completion, wash the vehicle again before drying the vehicle.
- After each clay process, the vehicle must be machine polished or, if this is not possible, apply protection until you can perform the polishing process.
Clay should not be used on a regular basis because it actually damages the paint. Instead, it is best to protect your car after every service to minimize this phase.
Care instructions
