Washing microfiber cloths

Microfiber cloths are ideal for cleaning cars because they absorb dirt and water efficiently without scratching. Maintaining your microfiber cloths is crucial and should always be done properly to ensure the maximum life of your cloths.

Microfiber cloth washing before first use

  • Always wash new microfiber cloths before first use to remove any loose factory fibers.
  • It is also important to always wash new black, orange and red towels separately from lighter towels to avoid color transfer.

How can I wash microfiber cloths?

  • Do not wash the cloths hotter than 40 °C, otherwise the fibers may be damaged and they are much less effective.
  • Use an appropriate, liquid detergent specially formulated to keep your microfiber cloths soft and clean.
  • Do not use fabric softener, bleach or perfume. This can reduce the absorbency of the fabric and damage the fibers.
  • Wash microfiber cloths separately from other fabrics, especially cotton, to avoid discoloration and lint.
  • If cloths are very dirty, consider a pre-wash or soak program.

Microfiber cloths drying

After the microfiber cloths are washed, you can dry them in two different ways:

  • Choose a low temperature in the dryer.
  • Let the cloths air dry in a dust-free area.
  • Do NOT iron microfiber cloths.
