Returning

As a consumer, are you not satisfied with your order or have changed your mind? Too bad, but we can rectify that.

14-day return period

If you buy goods from us, as a consumer you have the right for 14 days from delivery or conclusion of the contract to decide that you do not want to keep the goods. Within 14 days after we have received your order back or you have indicated that you wish to withdraw from the contract, we will refund you the full purchase price of the goods.

How do I return a product?

  1. Contact us within 14 days by sending an e-mail to info@cardetail.be.
  2. In this email, please include the order number and the item you wish to return.
  3. Pack the product carefully in a box with padding material.
  4. Include a copy of the order or invoice along with the product in the box.
  5. Take the package to a post office and send it to our address.

Return costs

Returning products or orders is at your own expense. If the fault (such as a defect, for example) lies with us, we will send you a label to return the item. Please contact us for this so we can handle this correctly.

Exceptions

  • We only accept products in unopened packaging and unused condition.
  • Seals or closures on coatings, bottles or water bottles must not have been removed.
  • Microfiber, polishing pads and similar items should not come into contact with liquids or chemicals and will only be accepted in unused and unwashed condition.
  • CARDETAIL is not liable for damage and lost packages during return transportation. Therefore, always make sure that the package is properly packed.

Damaged transport packaging

If you see serious damage on the outside of the package, do not accept the shipment and ask the delivery person to report it. If you have already accepted the package and still notice a damaged shipping package, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible at info@cardetail.be. Please photograph the damage with your mobile phone and send it to us as an email attachment. This will help us enormously and we will be able to provide a suitable solution quickly. We can only submit a damage claim to the shipping service within a maximum of 5 days. To submit a damage claim, we need some photos that meet the following conditions:

  • (1) A photo of the complete package.
  • (2) A photo of the package with the package label visible.
  • (3) A photo of the damage to the box on the outside.
  • (4) A photograph taken from above of the opened package, clearly showing the contents and inner packaging of the package.
  • (5) A photograph of all types of inner packaging included in the package.
  • (6) A photograph of the entire scope of the article.
  • (7) A detail photo of the specific damage to the item.
