The Ultra Clay Scrubber from The Rag Company helps keep your car paint clean and smooth! Like the Ultra Clay Towel, this clay sponge is an evolution from the clay bar. Use the car clay sponge with a clay lubricant such as Koch Chemie Clay Spray, P&S Paint Gloss or CARPRO Immolube.

The Ultra Clay line from The Rag Company does not even leave marring in most cases! So in most cases it is possible to clay the car without polishing. Of course, soft paints always remain sensitive to clay and therefore we still recommend a minimum of one-step polishing.

Before first use, rub the Ultra Clay Scrubber on the windows of the car with a clay scrubber. Inspect the surface of the Ultra Clay Scrubber before and during use to avoid unwanted results. To clean the clay surface, spray the clay surface with lubricant and wipe gently by hand. Rinsing it out under the tap or in a bucket is also possible. After repeated use, or if too much contamination is present, it is best to throw away the clay sponge and use a new one. Don't worry, however, a car clay sponge will last much longer than a typical car clay bar.

How can I clay my car with the Ultra Clay Sponge?

1. First, wash the car thoroughly using the two bucket method.
2. Then spray a clay lubricant such as CARPRO Immolube or Koch Chemie Clay Spray on a small area.
3. Gently rub the surface with the clay sponge until the contaminants are removed and the surface is completely smooth.
4. During use, inspect the clay sponge regularly for contaminants and clean it if necessary.
5. Continue in sections until the entire car is clayed.
6. Clean the sponge and store in a cool, dry place.
7. Follow-up with a quick detailer, paint sealant, wax or polish.

• Use before waxing to remove surface contaminants.
• Do not soak in liquid.
• Do not squeeze or wring out.
• Do not store flat on a clay media surface.
• Do not store wet in airtight containers.
