Bilt-Hamber Touch Less is a new, environmentally friendly snow foam pre-cleaner that can be applied by spray bottle, pressure pump or foam cannon. This biodegradable sugar-based snow foam, applied with a PIR content of 0.5% to 2%, provides truly exceptional cleaning of automotive paintwork.

Unlike other petrochemical-based cleaners, TouchLess rinses easily, making bucket washing easier and significantly improving post-treatment adhesion. In addition, Touch-Less contains corrosion inhibitors, but is completely free of phosphates, solvents, NTA or caustic soda. Available in 1 liter and 5 liters.

How do I use Bilt Hamber Touchless?

Touchless can be applied with a spray bottle, pump sprayer or foam cannon. The minimum recommended dilution should be 0.5% PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) and up to 2% for very dirty vehicles. When applied with a spray bottle or pump sprayer, the dilution calculation is straightforward. However, when applied with pressure equipment, it is essential to determine the amount of water pumped to the equipment's reservoir.

1. Fill the detergent bottle or reservoir (on the machine or lance) to the brim with plain water. Turn the detergent supply all the way open. Take a large bucket or container and empty the lance into it, watching the detergent bottle until it is empty. Stop as soon as it is empty.
2. The following calculations yield a 2% dilution: Measure the total amount collected and multiply by 0.02 (the total amount can be measured in volume with a measuring cup or by weight). This is the amount of Touch-Less to be used.
3. Add the calculated amount from step 2 to the pressure washer reservoir and fill to the brim with cold water. Shake it briefly.
4. Apply the product to the entire vehicle or panel by panel. Let it soak for 1-5 minutes (but never let it dry). Rinse it off with a pressure washer.

Comments

• It is not necessary to use all the diluted touchless products in one wash. One liter of diluted product is sufficient for 4-5 washes.
• Apply it to cool panels in the shade.
• Do not let the product dry up during use.
• Keep the neck and cap of the bottle clean.
