CARPRO CQuartz DLUX coating

CARPRO CQuartz DLUX is a plastic and rim coating that provides up to one year of durable protection. CQuartz DLUX is highly resistant to extreme temperatures, making the product perfect for application to rims and calipers. Traditional products wash off within weeks or months, but CQuartz DLUX continues to protect month after month!

The plastic and rim coating is widely applicable to different types of surfaces such as:

• Rims and calipers
• Exterior plastic finishes (bumpers, trims, wheel wells and more)
• Rubber
• Engine Spaces
• Chrome
• Headlights

Coating rims with CARPRO DLUX

CARPRO rim coating provides excellent protection and is designed to withstand extreme heat. This makes it ideal for high-temperature surfaces and areas such as rims, brake calipers and exhaust systems.

Plastic coating

The coating can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including plastic, rubber and metal. Unlike plastic dressings, which only enhance the appearance for a short time, CQuartz DLUX restores and protects these surfaces. The coating revives exterior plastics and gives a deep, rich color without a greasy finish.

CARPRO DLUX with Gliss

DLUX is itself highly hydrophobic, but can be finished with 1 or even 2 coats of CARPRO Gliss as desired. This topcoat provides even better protection against mineral and water stains. Gliss can be applied 4 hours after DLUX has been applied.

How can I apply DLUX rim coating myself?

1. For best results, we recommend disassembling the wheels.
2. Wash the rim thoroughly with car shampoo and/or a rim cleaner.
3. Decontaminate the rim with CARPRO IronX and TarX.
4. Polish the surface if necessary (do not polish matte or satin finishes!).
5. Degrease the entire rim with CARPRO Eraser.
6. Then apply a few drops of DLUX, in a line, on the applicator wipes provided.
7. Apply the product evenly, but certainly not too thin. Do not go over the treated surface after 1 minute.
8. Allow the coating to soak in for 1 to 5 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature.
9. Finally, wipe off the residue with a microfiber cloth. Use a second, clean cloth to wipe again and remove streaks or excess product.

Coating for plastic and plastics self-application

1. Clean the surface with an all-purpose cleaner (such as MultiX) and a wash mitt or microfiber cloth.
2. Rinse very well to remove residual cleaner.
3. Then dry the surface thoroughly.
4. Degrease with CARPRO Eraser and allow the product to dissipate for 20 minutes.
5. Then apply a few drops of DLUX, in a line, on the applicator wipes provided.
6. Apply the product evenly, but certainly not too thin. Do not go over the treated surface after 1 minute.
7. Do not wipe product on textured plastics, but be sure to distribute evenly.
8. On smooth plastics, you should wipe the product off before it becomes too sticky (after about 1 minute). This results in a thinner coat that does not last as long, but on some plastics it is not easy to apply it very evenly.

Protecting headlights with DLUX coating

The coating is also suitable for protecting headlights after sanding and polishing. In this way, these are also protected for up to one year from the various outside element. The UV protection prevents the headlights from becoming dull or yellow again immediately.
