Koch Chemie Felgenblitz Säurefrei is a powerful, acid-free rim cleaner based on a special neutral ingredient. Burnt-in brake dust, fly rust and other inorganic contaminants are removed thoroughly and material-friendly. The viscous composition (gel) ensures long adhesion and penetration. The effectiveness is made visible by the chemical reaction (the product color purple/red). Also, this Koch Chemie rim cleaner provides a polishing effect and contains gloss additives.

The acid-free rim cleaner from Koch Chemie is suitable for use with most rims. Aluminum, steel and chrome rims can be easily cleaned with Felgenblitz Säurefrei. Sensitive rims such as polished aluminum rims should be tested for material compatibility in advance at an inconspicuous location.

Koch Chemie Felgenblitz vs. Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner

Koch Chemie Felgenblitz is just a little less powerful compared to Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner. However, Felgenblitz still delivers excellent cleaning properties and is just a bit more interesting for the wallet. Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner has a slightly acidic effect (pH value 5.5), as Felgenblitz is pH neutral (pH value 7.5).

How do I use Koch's acid-free rim cleaner Chemie?

1. Spray the rim cleaner undiluted on the rim.
2. Leave the product on for about 3 minutes.
3. Then, if necessary, work the product in with a rim brush and/or detail brush.
4. Then rinse thoroughly, preferably with a pressure washer.
5. For strong contaminants, repeat the process.
6. For sensitive rims, make sure to completely remove any residual product from the wheel nut holes and cavities. It is always a good idea to blow them dry with compressed air or a BigBoi car dry blower, for example.
