Graphene Coating vs Ceramic Coating
Graphene coating offers exceptional conductivity, strength and flexibility, making it ideal for applications requiring high performance. Ceramic coating, on the other hand, offers excellent heat resistance, corrosion protection and durability. Both coatings have unique properties that make them suitable for different purposes in various industries.
How do I use Graphene Ceramic Coating?
- Provide the car with a general cleaning, decontamination and possibly a polishing treatment.
- Degrease the car spot with DIY Detail Panel Prep.
- Wear nitrile gloves and apply a few drops to the applicator pad in a well-ventilated area.
- Apply DIY Detail Ceramic Coating to a small area in circular motions.
- Allow the coating to set for 2-5 minutes (time depends on temperature and humidity).
- Observe the surface as the coating begins to bond with the varnish, the coating will transition from a liquid to what looks like an oil slick on water.
- When 50% of the surface becomes clear again, begin leveling the coating.
- Wipe the surface without pressure with a thin microfiber cloth. If the microfiber cloth does not glide smoothly or gets wet, wait 1 additional minute.
- Once the coating is leveled, use a soft microfiber cloth to remove the high spots.
