CARPRO Denim Pad is suitable for polishing orange peel paint. Without sanding or waxing, the polishing pad will remove or significantly reduce the orange peel effect. While removing orange peel and other defects, you also polish the paint instead of leaving sanding marks. As a result, fewer steps are needed afterwards to polish the paint back to a high gloss.

The Denim polishing pad is similar to 2000-grit sandpaper, but will polish the paint without dulling. It will also leave no sanding marks unlike using sandpaper. The Orange Peel Pads are velcroed for easy attachment to the backing plate of your polisher. We recommend using the Orange Peel Removal Pads with a rotary polisher. Use a compound polishing compound such as Clearcut or Ultracut.

How can I clean and maintain the Orange Peel Removal polishing pads?

• Spray a cleaning solution on the front of the polishing pad.
• Then work the cleaning product in with a brush (for example, pad cleaning brush).
• Rinse the front of the polishing pad thoroughly.
• Finally, allow to dry before the next use.

Caution

• The pads are equivalent to 2000-grit sandpaper.
• Be careful near edges and character lines or avoid completely.
• Do not use without adequate knowledge of clearcoat thickness in conjunction with a paint thickness gauge.
• Do not use pressure and regularly observe the temperature of the lacquer.
