Colourlock Leather Steering Wheel Kit – Zwart
De Colourlock Leather Steering Wheel Restauration Kit (Zwart) is ideaal voor het opfrissen en repareren van kleine krasjes en slijtplekken op lederen sturen. Stuurwielen worden dagelijks gebruikt en door veelvuldig contact met vocht, zonlicht & crèmes slijten ze snel of worden ze vettig.
Handzweet en huidoliën zijn bijzonder agressief voor het leer. De reden: leer is een materiaal met open poriën waarin handtranspiratie, huidvetten en vocht geleidelijk kunnen intrekken. Hierdoor wordt het leer broos, wordt de kleur zachter en schuurt het leer af. In sommige gevallen ontstaan er zelfs scheuren als gevolg van slijtage.

De Colourlock lederen stuurwiel reparatie set is ideaal voor zwarte stuurwielen met hier en daar een kras of slijtplek. De leer reparatie set is makkelijk in gebruik en geeft een natuurlijke glans als resultaat. De kit wordt geleverd met alle benodigdheden om krassen en slijtage aan je auto stuur eenvoudig te herstellen.
Hoe kan ik mijn lederen stuur reinigen en herstellen met Colourlock?
Recommended before use: carefully tape off all parts of the handlebar that should not be treated.
- To clean and protect, use Colourlock Mild Cleaner on one of the sponges provided and clean the handlebars thoroughly. Then wipe with the viscose cloth.
- Thoroughly degrease the handlebar with the Degreaser and a viscose cloth.
- Maak ruwe plekken glad met de soft schuurpad. Verwijder vervolgens het overtollige schuurstof met een doek.
- Gently dab the Leather Fresh (color restorer) with the sponge and apply it to the handlebars in circular motions.
- Then allow to dry completely or blow dry.
- Repeat this process if necessary. Re-sand uneven spots with the soft sanding pad and reapply Leather Fresh.
- Care for a steering wheel of an everyday car after 24 hours with Sealant (leather sealant): gently and evenly apply a little Sealant with a cloth and dry with a hair dryer.
- After 24 hours, a thin coat of Elephant Leather Preserver can be applied. It conditions the steering wheel and gives the leather a natural shine. (This step can also be omitted for new steering wheels.)
- After another 24 hours, apply Sealant to a cloth and gently apply it to the handlebars to protect the surface from new dirt and scuffs.
