This particular adapter has an M22 swivel coupling (black side) with a 14 mm stem, which converts to a standard 3/8″ Quick Connect coupling. It can be found on spray gun inlets, pump outlets or even in combination with other adapters for more complex fitting adjustment.

This item is often used when converting a pressure washer to Quick Connect configuration. This adapter is also suitable for connections between a gun and high pressure hose.
