Description
Car claying with a clay glove
A clay mitt or clay glove removes dirt from your car and makes your car paint super smooth again. All kinds of stubborn dirt can adhere to your car's paintwork. Air pollution, tree sap, tar,... leave an invisible "film" on your car to the naked eye that cannot be removed with an ordinary car wash. The clay glove lasts up to 4 times longer than traditional clay products such as a clay bar. In addition, it does not stick. Should you drop the clay glove, you can simply rinse it off. A clay bar, in contrast, you would have to throw it away immediately. The glove can be used on mirrors, windows, bumpers and other paintwork.
The Clay Mitt is available in 2 types
- Blue (Fine): for low to medium contaminants. Recommended for new or well-maintained car
- Yellow (Medium): for medium to high contamination. Recommended for cars that are constantly outside or that have not been well maintained
Instructions for using clay glove
- First, wash the vehicle thoroughly
- Use the Clay Mitt on glass for 60 seconds to remove the protective layer and soften the polymer
- Then spray enough lubricant (clay lubricant) on the surface
- Then rub the glove over the surface with light pressure
- Work in small areas of about 30 x 30 cm
- Finally, wipe off the residue with a clean, dry microfiber cloth or wash the car a second time
Caution
- Do not put in washing machine or dryer
- Rinse with water after use and allow to dry
- Sufficient clay fluid is crucial for this application, water alone is NOT a suitable lubricant
- The Clay Mitt is not resistant to solvents
- Use only on clean and cooled car paint, not in direct sunlight
- If necessary, use in an inconspicuous area first in case of unexpected adverse effects
