How do I use Armour Detail Supply Armour Quartz Coating?

Preparation:

Preparation is the most important step in the process. This coating is great, but can't do the prep work for you!

1. Decontaminate the surface to be treated with Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap and Iron Remover. Then remove further contamination with a clay bar or synthetic clay glove.
2. Polish the paintwork if swirls or scratches are present to reduce any surface defects and create maximum gloss.
3. Use Armour Detail Supply Panel Prep to remove any oil/residue from polishing. If you have not polished the surface, repeat this step twice to ensure a clean surface.

You are ready to apply Armour Quartz Coating!

Applying:

1. After thorough preparation, prime the applicator with 3 strokes and begin each subsequent application with a small amount; a small amount is enough.
2. Apply Armour Coating 1-2 panels at a time. First make an "X" pattern on the panel and then outline all edges to evenly distribute the coating. Follow the panel with small overlapping circles (like a wax), ensuring even, even coverage. Allow the product to "evaporate/cure" for 1-5 minutes, depending on temperature/humidity (generally 2-3 minutes). Watch for even, small drops of sweat before removing.
3. Using a small circular motion, apply the coating to 95%+ with the first wipe (short-pile microfiber cloth, pearl). The first wipe will adhere slightly, but the product should be easy to pick up. If the coating starts to run out, it will need more time to cure. If the product is very difficult to remove, it needs less time to remove. Use the second (plush) cloth for final leveling. Check for streaks or unevenness that may look like cloudy or dark spots. Repeat this process for each panel.
4. Turn the applicator to a clean side halfway through the vehicle, or as soon as the applicator begins to harden.
5. To clean the panel, use a clean side of the microfiber cloth.

Armour Quartz Coating is designed as a single-layer coating, but can be applied in multiple layers. If you want to apply multiple coats, keep 1-2 hours between coats.

Aftercare:

1. Allow at least 12 hours for initial curing. After 4 hours, you may apply Armour Detail Supply AMPLIFY or Ceramic Spray Sealant to protect the coating during the initial cure. After 12 hours, the vehicle may be driven again and allowed to get wet. For 7 days do not wash or expose to chemicals.

Precautions
